Day 1: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After clearing customs and passport control, you will walk out of the airport to meet our driver who will be holding a page board with your name clearly printed on it and he will assist to take your luggage and lead you to the Car.
You will be transfer to Arusha to collect packed lunch and drive to Tarangire Park for Full day game drives

Day 2: HALF DAY IN TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - HANANG
After breakfast, departure for half day of game drives in Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire, covers 2850km2 & runs along the Tarangire River, this park is famous for huge population of elephants, diversity wildlife and also the baobab trees. Game drives through Tarangire National Park are particularly thrilling during the dry season as the wildlife are cluster closer and closer to the Tarangire River. This offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals in one place and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.
Lunch at Picnic Site.. Continue with game drive on the exit, late you will be transferred to Hanang with en-route sightseeing, stops at local auctions, and markets.

Accommodation
You will live with a host family and will be provided with local meals three times a day. You will be living in the tribal villages and will become a part of the village life. Tribal homes are normally very basic mud or metal huts with no running water or electricity. However, despite the basic living arrangements, volunteer workers are well provided for and extremely well looked after by their hosts.
You will also get to try traditional food such as makande, mandazi, ugali, chapatti, mboga, supu, mchemsho, maziwa, and uji.

Get a sense of the spirit of the mountain, the home to the local Chagga tribe and you will learn their history and traditions on this full day excursion. You will visit a coffee farm, where you will learn how the coffee is grown, harvested and processed locally. Try your own hand at processing, roasting and preparing a fresh cup of coffee, then depart for the Ndoro Waterfalls. Our hike to the base of the waterfall will lead us through lush green landscape and the descend takes 1 hour. Then after we will visit to the Chagga Underground Caves and Live Museum.

Tarangire National Park is said to be the hidden gem of Tanzania. The Elephants and the baobab trees are one of the unique attractions of the park. African Pythons are spotted on the baobab quite often the is home to iconic animals most spotted animals in the national park are Africa elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, various primates, ostriches, flamingos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, wildebeests, pythons, hartebeests, elands, and impalas. The Park is claimed as the region that holds the largest elephant population in Tanzania. In the dry season herds, up to 300 elephants can be seen digging dry riverbed.
