10Days: 

EXPERIENCE TRUE TANZANIA CULTURE

Day 1:  KILIMANJARO AIRPORT - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After clearing customs and passport control, you will walk out of the airport to meet our driver who will be holding a page board with your name clearly printed on it and he will assist to take your luggage and lead you to the Car. 

You will be transfer to Arusha to collect packed lunch and drive to Tarangire Park for Full day game drives

Lunch at Picnic Site.  Dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire Camps or Lodge (L/D/B)

Day 2:  HALF DAY IN TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - HANANG 

After breakfast, departure for half day of game drives in Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire, covers 2850km2 & runs along the Tarangire River, this park is famous for huge population of elephants, diversity wildlife and also the baobab trees. Game drives through Tarangire National Park are particularly thrilling during the dry season as the wildlife are cluster closer and closer to the Tarangire River. This offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals in one place and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.

Lunch at Picnic Site.. Continue with game drive on the exit, late you will be transferred to Hanang with en-route sightseeing, stops at local auctions, and markets.  

Dinner and overnight stay at your host Family or Lodge.

 

Day 3:  FULL DAY HANANG 

Breakfast with the Family. Full day at leisure with the host and sometimes their neighbors

Sunset, Outdoor fire, dinner, bright and gloomy sky and overnight with your host Family.

 

Day 4:  DAY TRIP TO LAKE BALANGIDA 

After breakfast, drive to Lake Balangida for full day life experience with the Local

Strategy for next day assignments (activities), Barbeque dinner and overnight with your host Family.

 

Day 5:  FULL DAY HANANG 

After breakfast, depart to around area to fetch fire-wood or fetching water with head basket

Day 6:  DAY TRIP TO ESCARPMENT VIEW

After breakfast, drive Lake Malbadow Escarpment “a living great rift valley” in Gendabi Ward

Full day experience local mineral salt extraction

Dinner and overnight stay at host family or Camping 

 

Day 7:  FULL DAY HANANG 

Breakfast at leisure, depart for full day walking tour, bird watching, and rift valley trekking.

Picnic Lunch. Late evening return to Gendabi village with en route stops, sightseeing

Plans for next day Climbing arrangement and overnight stay at host family or Camping 

 

Day 8:  FULL DAY HANANG 

Early breakfast, depart to Mount Hanang for a full day trekking. Lunch at the top with a wonderful district aerial view, meet upon descent from the Mount and continue to Katesh.

Fare-well Barbeque dinner, and overnight stay at your host Family.

 

Day 10:  Departure

Early drive to Babati for breakfast, and then continue to Kilimanjaro airport via Arusha for Lunch, Late transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for onward flight.

Accommodation

You will live with a host family and will be provided with local meals three times a day.  You will be living in the tribal villages and will become a part of the village life. Tribal homes are normally very basic mud or metal huts with no running water or electricity. However, despite the basic living arrangements, volunteer workers are well provided for and extremely well looked after by their hosts.

You will also get to try traditional food such as makande, mandazi, ugali, chapatti, mboga, supu, mchemsho, maziwa, and uji.

10Days: Historical Lovers 

Day 1:      DAR ES SALAAM - CITY HOTEL

You will be met on arrival at Dar es Salaam int. airport and transfer to city with in route sightseeing

Dar es Salaam is dynamic, colorful and diverse. Originally a small fishing village known as Mzizima it’s now a bustling city and hub for East African business and trade. Packed with interesting culture, history, food and people our Dar es Salaam city tour will give you a taste of one of East Africa’s most exciting cities.

Day 2:     FULL DAY IN DAR ES SALAAM

After breakfast, you will be guided for full day Dar es Salaam city tours, visit askari monument, fish market, national museum, mwenge art and craft, white house, Kariakoo,

Day 3:     SPEAL FOR CHILDREN 

After breakfast, guided to Makumbusho Village, and then continue to Tingatinga art “proudly had craft” a place for children to grasp historical arts and have an opportunity to make, draw and sketch for the memorable pictures of their trip. 

Lunch on leisure, and then transferred to Palm Village for shopping or to white sands for swimming, sunbathing

Day 4:     DAR ES SALAAM -MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked, and drive to Mikumi Park for evening game drive;

With 3,230 square kilometers coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania. The Park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffes’ buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here-including Eurasian migrants such as red billed oxpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.

Day 5:    MIKUMI PARK - DAR ES SALAAM

You will be departing for half day game drives in Mikumi National Park; after picnic lunch, 

you will be transferred back to Dar es Salaam with en-route sightseeing

Day 7:    DAR ES SALAAM - ZANZIBAR 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Dar es Salaam Sea port for ferry to Zanzibar

Day 8:     ZANZIBAR 

Full day at leisure with water sport and activities or transferred to Natural Nungwi Aquarium,

DAY 1:  ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INT AIRPORT

DAY 2:  FULL DAY IN MOSHI KILIMANJARO

after breakfast, departure for full day tour in Marangu Moshi

Get a sense of the spirit of the mountain, the home to the local Chagga tribe and you will learn their history and traditions on this full day excursion. You will visit a coffee farm, where you will learn how the coffee is grown, harvested and processed locally. Try your own hand at processing, roasting and preparing a fresh cup of coffee, then depart for the Ndoro Waterfalls. Our hike to the base of the waterfall will lead us through lush green landscape and the descend takes 1 hour. Then after we will visit to the Chagga Underground Caves and Live Museum.

DAY 3: MOSHI  - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you are met by our guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing.

You will be driving to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive. Lunch at Picnic Site

Tarangire National Park is said to be the hidden gem of Tanzania. The Elephants and the baobab trees are one of the unique attractions of the park. African Pythons are spotted on the baobab quite often the is home to iconic animals most spotted animals in the national park are Africa elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, various primates, ostriches, flamingos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, wildebeests, pythons, hartebeests, elands, and impalas.  The Park is claimed as the region that holds the largest elephant population in Tanzania. In the dry season herds, up to 300 elephants can be seen digging dry riverbed. The Park is a home to more than 550 species of birds

DAY 4: TARANGIRE - FULL DAY MTO WA MBU ANYARA  

After breakfast, you will be driving to Manyara, visit Mto Wa Mbu village for a great cultural experience with an experienced, walking safari, maasai visit , banana tour, option bicycling with wildlife 

“Mto wa Mbu village the most active Villages in northern Tanzania, and it is the best stop over for an authentic cultural interaction and great tours”.

You will be transferred to the Lodge or Camp for Hot shower, dinner and overnight stay

 

DAY 5: FULL DAY IN NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast you will meet your guide/driver, for a short safari briefing, and descend to the Crater.

The Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania is one of Africa’s Seven Natural wonders, deserved tittle considering the long list of an amazing places on this continent and also on the list of the (10) ten Natural wonders of the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, the area covers up 8,292km2 of Northern Tanzania. Area is considered as the” Garden of Eden” of Africa and have a glorious landscape that’s teeming with about 25,000 animals including four of the Big Five and other large mammals, including ungulates, buffalo, warthog, hippo, and elephants and an amazing population of lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, leopard and an amazing birdlife can be spotted which includes 500 birds’ species out of which 400 can be found in the crater itself.

Ascend the crater, and drive back to Arusha via Manyara

DAY 6:  LAKE EYASI "Home to authentic"

After breakfast, you will meet your guide/driver, for a short safari briefing, and drive to lake Eyasi

for hunting activity with the Hadzabe tribesmen; Lunch at Picnic Site

"The home to the Datoga tribe (blacksmith), Hadzabe and bushmen (watindiga), some of the last remaining hunter-gatherers on the continent, and one of the few places remaining in Africa where tribal life is still maintained relatively untouched by the development of the region The Hadzabe people have called Lake Eyasi home for more than 10,000 years, and still retain their hunter gatherer lifestyle; making them one of the last ancient African tribes still living a tribal"

DAY 7:  SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK "Home of Big five"

After breakfast, you will be driving to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro for afternoon and evening game drive "Serengeti Park, is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size"

Picnic lunch, sunset, You will be transferred to the Lodge or Camp for Hot shower, dinner and overnight stay

 

 

DAY 8:  SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK "Endless plan"

After breakfast, you will be guided for a full day of game drive in Serengeti.

Serengeti Park, is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa, It is well known for the largest annual migration of over 1.5 million blue wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile and honey badger. The park is the centerpiece of the Serengeti Ecosystem which is twice as large and includes the neighboring Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Maasai Mara National

DAY 9: NGORONGORO CRATER , "Cradle of Mankind"

After breakfast, you will be driving to an earliest evidence of the existence of human ancestors

Visit the piece of Africa -where mankind first emerged in the world – the Olduvai Gorge known as the 'Cradle of Mankind'. It was in this area that Louis Leakey discovered the skull of Nutcracker man, which dates back  to over1.7 millions years old.

DAY 10 DEPARTURE
